No, Jesus is the Easter bunny who got in that helicopter and died for our sins.
Rabbits and hares were originally part of pre-Christian pagan fertility lore. The earliest record of an Easter bunny story appears to have originated in Germany, where it appeared in writings in the 1500s. As a symbol of bringing Easter eggs, the origins appear to be in Alsace and the Upper Rhineland. For more information, visit the Related Question.
The easter bunny began giving out eggs to represent how Jesus died on the cross to save our sins. Christians started this so that the easter bunny would give out things just as Jesus did. This started in america I do believe.

Like many of the traditions tied in with our celebrations of holidays, The Easter Bunny originated in Germany. In the 1500's, a German story told of a mother who hid colored eggs for her children to find. After finding them, they saw a big rabbit hop away and believed it must have been responsible for leaving the eggs. By the 1800's, the Germans were making rabbit shaped pastries for Easter. German immigrants brought the custom to America along with holiday games that had children making nests for the Easter Bunny with the expectation they would be filled with colored eggs and gummy candies, the predecessors of our jellybeans.
