Actually speaking there is no mention of Easter in the bible.
None.
Easter isn't mentioned in the bible. Unless you have another bible,, and Easter wasn't something celebrated until way later. ----- Acts 12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put [him] in prison, and delivered [him] to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people. ----- The two answers above are in a way correct because in the original manuscripts the word Easter is NOT in the bible, however in modern bibles the word Easter IS found in the bible. The word "Easter" is found in one place in modern bibles (in the above reference given in Acts 12:4), however, the word "Easter" does not give the reader of today an accurate understanding of what is meant when using the word "Easter". To find what is meant by the word "Easter" you have to look at the actual word that was used in the language of the original writing. The word used here in the original text is "Pascha", not "Easter". The word "Pascha" is referring to the Hebrew word "פכח"/"Pasach", the English equivalent of this word is "Passover". The word Passover gives us, the modern day reader, a clearer understanding of what is being referred to in this passage. Using the word "Easter" does not help the modern reader, in fact, it encourages the reader to believe that the word Easter was originally in scripture, and it was NOT.
That would be correct. There are many words that are not in the Bible. (ie: Catholic, Lutheran; not even the word cross, or Christmas, or Easter, or Halloween) Neither is the word 'Bible', in the Bible.
What are you asking? The word God is a translation of a Hebrew word. The word LORD is the name of God. Which are you asking about? none the name God in in all books of the Bible. Why????

There is no Easter or Thamuz in the Bible. Are you spelling the names correctly?
The word Easter is derived from the name of the Anglo-Saxon goddess Ēostre. In ancient Germanic the month of April was Ēostre month, and the goddess was celebrated at that time. Some of the traditions of Christian Easter are thought to have originated in the celebrations of that goddess. The word does not appear in the manuscripts of the bible, and the word being translated as "Easter" in many modern English bibles actually refers to Passover.
Semana Santa is the word for "Easter" in Spanish.
The easter bunny is a non-Biblical character that people invented as an alternate visual icon for Easter.
