No record of the menu of that first harvest celebration exists. It is possible there was turkey available but more likely they had Grouse, duck, goose and swan. They would also have possibly had game meats like venison, rabbit and squirrel. Also, they most likely would have had seafood like cod and herring.
See the link below that has some information on what they may have had available for the meal.
Yes they did because the crops weren't enough to eat
I personally did not kill the indians so don't blame me, but when the pilgrims came to America the brought diseases that killes of the indians, also the indians could not fight back against the new settlers weapons.
When katuka hun shot the great boar of the west & killed the mobikis w/ his fist, then showed columbus his bloody fist & saved all humanity when the indians faught the pilgrims & the pilgrims won using guns
first used by indians to kill there meat such as bear fish deeer exc.

aproximently 53 survived to celebrate "thanksgiving". that is not what they called it then though. and many people celebrate thanksgiving with turkey now a days but that was not what had happened. wild turkeys were often way to hard tocatch so they ate a lot of deer meet and fish but they did have a coiple of turkeys.turkey was not their min dish because they couldn't kill them. so yes there was not a lot of people to celebrate this harvest time because there was a lot of disease and things of that nature that had killed off most of the pilgrims. so there was aproximently53 survivers!
