Dear Neighbour,
I live nearby at 24 Gooseberry Gardens. I have developed a new recycling scheme, but the council wants me to gather support for it first.
My plan is that all recycling will be taken away free, using green (organic waste) and yellow (glass, plastic, paper, cans) bins. All other garbage will be weighed at kerbside (red bin) and residents will pay 5 cents a kilo for the council to take it away. So everyone is encouraged to recycle.
The money raised will more than pay for the whole scheme so there will be a reduction in our rates! Good news!
