I found 12 almonds in the bottom glass container in 2012. They were put there in 2004 and still look good. Other glass containers were stacked on top so maybe they were not exposed to air over all these years.
The colour of these almonds is much darker than fresh almonds and there is no odour. I was too scared to try one as I'm sure they're rancid and may not be safe to eat.
A cotton bag will take a few months to biodegrade/decompose.
The plastic bag will not decompose but it may clog up the toilet.
It takes about 3 to 4 weeks to decompose a paper bag.
A single paper bag can take 3-4 weeks to decompose.
It can take a long amount of time, up to 3 years due to atmosphere and air particals. these can affect how long it taked to decompose. you should keep in it the sun if you it to decompose fast.
it takes 500 years
this will take 450 to 500 yrs
maybe an hour or two!
It does not decompose, but brakes up into tiny pieces and eventually turns into plastic dust. This process takes hundreds of years.
The bag itself will take centuries if not longer to break down as it is a layered metalized plastic material.
20-1000 years
Yes plastic do decompose. But they will take about 500 to do so. So we don't encourage to use plastic bags when we purchase our items in the supermarket. A better choice is to bring recycling bag , a recycling bag takes only a few years to decompose
