Before replacing the egr you should clean it up!Use some carburetor cleaner or brake clean and wire brush/sand paper to remove the carbon build up inside it.If after doing this and no change then and only then would I recommend a new part.Auto zone or advance auto parts carry the egr and it is not cheap.I do not think the purge valve is offered at either of these two stores.Mazda is probably your only choice.I have my original egr still on my truck and it's 23 yrs old.Just clean your original it should clear the issue up unless you tried that already and was not the fix.Note another way to see if after doing the clean up on the original part and the truck runs bad pull the vacumm line off and it should clear up,assuming the egr is defective (the diaphragm inside is wornout).
