Some great things to teach them would be to begin recycling in your home to get them acquainted with it, and educate them on what recycling does for our planet and why it is so important. In addition, get in the habit of turning off all lights in your home before leaving for work or while you are not in the room. Explain to your kids that this saves valuable energy and helps us limit pollution. Finally, you and your kids can get involved in a local green peace organization to really make a difference.
