should'nt you look at the rubbish problem another way , Singapore should produce less garbage ( they say its an evolved country and rich), get rid not only of plastic bags , but all that paper and plastic things are sold in . Also get rid of the Singapore BUT syndrome (buy use throw) , try and repair , that goes from cars to everything in the home , and also homes , why knock down and rebuild all the time .

Try more and more ecological education , and tell people what will really happen in the future if they don't stop , use shock tactics. The biggest problem is its not government policy to reduce manufacturing or consumption , not good for the way they look at economics , and what would they use for landfill , Singapore is not renowned for being an ecological place , their ecology is surface deep..
