Yes, if it is paper it can be recycled!
Look carefully at the packaging of your paper. Usually there will be some sort of notation regarding whether it is recycled or not. Often this will be fairly prominent, as recycling is a selling point for product. Look for a "made from ___% recycled material" note, or at least the universal "arrows making a triangle" recycling symbol. Failing that, research different brands of recycled paper and see if your local purveyors of goods offer one of those brands.
