Near where I live we can recycle at a junk yard or a local landfill.

If you find a junk yard that excepts aluminum cans, or glass bottles, sometimes they will pay you.

If you go to a local landfill they will have big dumpsters or "boxes" where you can put the items you want to recycle. They are all labeled and made for specific things to recycle. ( Cans, cardboard, glass...ect.) Make sure you put your items in the right "box"!

Depending on where you live, there are many different places in which you may recycle. Some of the best places to recycle would be local lakes, rivers and streams. It is believed by many that this pollutes the water; however, the truth is just the opposite. Recycling in nearby bodies of water actually gives back to the environment. By disposing of your old materials gives back to the wildlife because the animals aquire the necessary materials to make it through the harsh winters. For instance, many fish species use recycled bottles as home during the winters, for these bottles conserve warmth. Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Locally!
