According to me, it can affect the work environment in two major ways:

1. Efficiency:

Most of the things which help us to complete our work on time are due to the avialablility of those things when required like for example: if we talk about table chair which is not properly design for a computer table to match its height with user's angle which in-return reduces the efficiency of the employee due to the back pain.

2. Availability:

It is the duty of the organisation to provide a computer to a data entry operator which is assumed by default, now for example: what if the firm does not provide a computer to him/her? very simple, in all the cases firm will have to bear the loss(es) which could occur by anytime because of not feeding the data into the computer.
