There are currently no plans to release a Second Life grid for kids. Teen second life closed in 2011. Second life is generally for use by adults only, aged 18 or over. For those aged over 13 however access to Second Life is available with restrictions. Between the ages of 13-15 access to the grid is allowed through an affiliated organization. Only approved avatars are allowed access and are restricted solely to the organizations private estate. If you are aged 16-17 you can access Second Life with the restriction of general maturity rating areas only.
