How do you activate WiFi connection?

First go to a wi-fi hotspot. Like a coffee shop or even your house. Then it will tell you if the wi-fi is free or not. Then lets

say you have a tablet or ipad you go to settings and it will say wi-fi network. Press connect and there you go.
