Log in on the Geocaching website. From here there are two ways to find the cache on the website:
- Click Play -> Log a Geocache,
- Enter the GC code of the cache you have found and hit 'Go'

- Select the cache from the map.
Once you have found the cache:
- Click 'Log your Visit'
- Change 'Type of log' to 'Found it'
- Enter your notes and click 'Submit Log Entry'

Is it OK to visit a single geocache more than once?

Now, if you are logging a find of a geocache on a website, your first visit when you sign the logbook should be logged as a "find" (or whatever term your geocaching listing site uses.) Subsequent visits should not be logged as a find. Perhaps you would log a "note" to record your visit or your travel bug/geocoin movements. It's important on secondary (or more) visits to a geocache to use care and stealth in retreiving the cache. You will want to ensure that you don't reveal the cache's location to non-players who may muggle the cache. I think you will find the most cache owners welcome many visits to their cache. It shows that you appreciate the work they put into creating their cache.
