Yes, it is possible to have water on the inside of a window due to condensation, which occurs when warm, moist air comes into contact with a cooler surface like a window pane.
If the window is not perfectly sealed (and it isn't likely to be), then it is possible for the metal to corrode due to exposure to oxygen and water.
Condensation is the process of a substance changing from a gas to a liquid. E.g when you get water on the inside of a window. The window has water vapour on it. The the cold rain hits the warmer surface of the window which has water vapour on. When water vapour is cooled it turns into water (a liquid. The water will then start to drip down on the inside of the window because the water vapour which was on the inside of the window has been cooled. And then turned in to a liquid! Condensation is what the clouds are called The water evaporates into the sky on a sunny day and becomes clouds in the sky the changing of a gas into a liquid.
yes because the hot air inside your house is against your window and the cold air on the outside is against your window. So they mix at your window so it has condensation on it.
Condensation forms inside your window when warm, moist air comes into contact with a cold surface, causing the air to release water vapor that then condenses into liquid water droplets.
It will cause rusting from the inside, possible damage to power window motor, power door locks, power mirrors if equipped.
Your A/C is probably not level in the window and the water (or condensation) is running inside. To fix it; Level the A/C in the window (or have the outside section angled slightly down) to avoid having a wet floor inside.

Take the inside door panel off and the water deflector paper and you will be able to see the window motor.

If possible, close the inner window then if nessasary use a ladder to access the window screen from outside the house. Use a bottle of Fantastik Cleaner and set it on spray mist (steam for caked on bugs and birdy doody). Then while inside the house you can clean up the runnoff in the window frame. From inside the house, spray the inside of the window screen in an outwards direction. Do all screens to be cleaned in this fashion before rinsing. Afterwards, rinse ALL the screens from the outside with water (makings sure all windows are closed of coarse), a gardenhose or pressure washer will do nicely.Little messy but no need to remove the window screens.
No, it is not possible to use a window air conditioner without a window, as the unit needs a window for proper installation and ventilation.
