Allow the Roland to rest on its back edge so that the front of the keys face upward. on the bottom front edge of the piano loosen 4-5 screws that hold the plate to which the keys are attached. once you've loosened this u shaped plate the top half of the piano will hing upwards, opening the piano completely. If your keys are not playing or playing intermittantly you can diss-assemble the entire keyboard clean the pads with a non oilbased non abrasive switch cleaner and your Roland will be as good as new.
How do you adjust the sliding door on a 2000 Ford Windstar so it shuts flush?
These doors sometimes can be a pain in the ars to adjust. TAke it to the dealer or a body shop you are familiar with. Adding to this since I had a problem like this. I used a Dry Silicone Lubricant spray and sprayed the latches and all the rollers on the door and it fixed my problem with this. Don't use WD40 or another oilbased lubricant because it will just cause more junk to stick to them and make the problem even worse within a few weeks. Make sure it is a dry lubricant. Can you apply lacquer over spar urethane?
Look at label on can if urethane is oil based it should be fine. Think of it like basic chemistry. Oil and water dont mix, xlene based products are used to strip oil, so if ur using a xlene base over oil thats a no brainer. The urethane I use is a xlene base so I wld never use over oil. Im just not sure if they sell a oilbased urethane so check the labels

No they are still oil paints, they have been made water soluble but are still not compatible with other water based media.__________________________________________________________________You can use water mixable paints (WMO's) over acrylics very dramatically. You can do the background and what ever else you want with the acrylics, let them dry completely, and wipe on a very fine layer of WMO linseed oil or my preference, walnut oil from M.Graham.Wipe off any excess oil. You want this to be very thin so it acts as a binder to the acrylics and makes them go on very smoothly.You are free to paint large areas of just small high lights with the WMO's. What ever you want.
