Later on in the game, there is an area called "Tercessuinotlim". In here, there is a NPC called "Nulgath". He has various quests that are known for being difficult. He also has some of the most desirable items in the game. Here we find the only use for cubes in the game. Nulgath has a quest that requires you to turn in 25 cubes and kill 1 Snow Golem in Northlands, to get a single Tainted Gem. So far, this is the only use for Cubes.
