Excluding the use of drugs and dangerous toys, or such practices as asphixiating oneself, one can not die from masturbation. Neither does it give you warts, make you blind or any other such nonsense. Compulsively masturbating is a psychological neurotic pattern that requires psychological treatment, particularly if you can't resist while at tea. There are various drugs that may be used to decrease compulsive behavior. The worst side effects are the lack of ejaculation and sore genitalia. What may be considered unhealthy is the amount of time thinking of sex and masturbating. You can judge this by how much it interferes with other parts of your life, such as your job or family interations. This is the same clinical rule of thumb you would use for other compulsive behaviors. There are religious overtones which I will not entertain. Most Eastern Religions like Christianity consider self pleasure a sin. While others would consider the offering of "the life essence" as a sacrament. My advice is all things in moderation. Best, Nick
