Your blower fan may not be turning off due to a faulty thermostat, a malfunctioning fan relay, or a problem with the fan motor itself. It is recommended to have a professional HVAC technician inspect and repair the issue to ensure proper functioning of your heating and cooling system.
Your AC blower fan may not be turning on due to a faulty motor, a malfunctioning capacitor, a broken belt, or a problem with the thermostat. It is recommended to have a professional HVAC technician inspect and repair the issue.
Why does your ac and heater fan turn off and on
Your blower motor relay went bad. You may also need to replace either the blower motor or one of the climate control sensors. If your blower motor squeals or makes a scraping sound it is going bad and will damage the blower motor relay. JQ
If your blower motor is either not turning itself off, or randomly turning itself on with the ignition off (and you have auto climate control), the problem is the blower control module. Located directly behind the blower motor, it takes information from the climate control, and is in charge of turning the blower on/off. To replace the blower control module, remove the splash shield under the passenger side dash (there's 3 plastic retainers hold it in place). The blower control module is located behind the blower motor, and is held in with 3 bolts. The 2 rearmost bolts (by the firewall) only need to be loosened, and the front one removed. The entire unit rotates down and can then be replaced.
Have your blower motor resistor or blower motor checked out
Check the blower relay, it may be getting stuck..............
The blower control module is defective.
Bad low limit switch,fan switch.
The blower on a 2002 Nissan Pathfinder won't turn off if the switch is stuck in the on position or the relay is defective. Removing the blower fuse will cause the fan to turn off.
You may need to replace the heater\ac control switch, it may be stuck in the off position which would prevent the blower and the ac compressor from turning on.
The blower fan in your HVAC system may not turn off due to a faulty thermostat, a malfunctioning fan relay, or a problem with the fan motor itself. It is recommended to contact a professional HVAC technician to diagnose and fix the issue.
If the blower fan in your 2005 Kia Sportage does not turn off, it could be due to a faulty blower motor resistor, a malfunctioning relay, or a stuck climate control switch. The blower motor resistor controls the fan speed, and if it fails, it may cause the fan to stay on continuously. Additionally, a stuck relay could keep the power supplied to the fan, preventing it from shutting off. It’s advisable to check these components or consult a professional for a thorough diagnosis.
