The door handle may be jammed due to a mechanical issue, such as a loose screw or a broken latch. To fix it, you can try tightening any loose screws, lubricating the mechanism with oil, or replacing any broken parts. If these steps don't work, you may need to call a professional locksmith or repair person to assess and fix the problem.

I went to close the side door on my vehicle and it was jammed locked. A gentleman came over and had me pull on the inside handle (as to open it) then he pulled on the outside handle as to open it and it released. Hope this helps silverpenny
Try to get to the handle in side of the window or you can try to brake in to the panal and look at whats getting jammed.
The door handle of a 1996 Pontiac Grand Prix can be replace because broken units will can not be fixed. To replace a handle remove the unit from the door and unhinged the locking mechanism.
Hold the handle open so you don't break the latch and kick it (gently) from the inside.
most door handles are fixed by removing inner door panel and change door handle w / 2 bolts /. screw.....might involve some finnese getting in there...
ON my 1967 Buick Electra 225 the driver door jammed and both the inside handle and outside handle felt like there was nothing connected. One day I peered into the window and could see a little metal tab on the left side that I could see was connected to the door mechanism. I just slid a flat head screwdriver down the window crack and pulled the tab up, back into the original position. It worked perfect. However, I've found that what jammed my door was that if the handles are pulled while locked it jams. Hope that helps.

To unlock a stuck or jammed interior door, you can try using a credit card or a thin, flat object to slide between the door and the frame to release the latch. You can also try gently tapping the door near the handle to see if that helps loosen it. If these methods don't work, you may need to remove the doorknob or call a professional locksmith for assistance.
The door lock may be jammed due to a mechanical issue or a misalignment of the lock mechanism. To fix it, you can try lubricating the lock with graphite powder or WD-40, or adjusting the strike plate to ensure proper alignment. If these methods don't work, you may need to call a locksmith for further assistance.
you can still pull up the handle given enough effort, a pair of pliers and some wd40.
