There could be several reasons why your garage door opener won't close. Some common reasons include a blocked sensor, misaligned tracks, or a malfunctioning remote control. It's best to check these potential issues and troubleshoot accordingly to determine the exact cause of the problem. If you're unsure, it may be helpful to consult a professional for assistance.

if your door wont close then i would look at the "eyes" but if it wont open or close check the wires take it wall unit off and make sure the wires are hooked up. I just learned a costly lesson and that you need to check the power. Are your red beams lit up? Check your trip switch. That's a $60 lesson and I hope I can save someone else a service call perhaps.
Well if your garage door has a sensor to make sure nothings in the way check the sensor. There may be something in the sensors range so it wont let the door close. The sensor is usually a small box at the bottom of the door with a red laser coming out of it, though you can only see the laser right in front of the sensor. If its not the sensor there may be something wrong with a different part, so you should call Customer Service, they might walk you through it.
Answer:if your car has a sunroof its for the sunroof, if it doesn't then i would say that it is for the garage door because those are your only two options.IT IS THE DOOR OPENER THAT WAS OPTIONAL AND YOU NEED TO TAKE YOUR NORMAL HAND HELD REMOTE AND OPEN IT , IF IT HAS 10 WHITE SWITCHES THEN THE OPTIONAL DOOR OPENER WONT WORK THE GARAGE UNITAS THE OPTIONAL ONLY HAS A 9 SWITCH SET UP...SO NOW IT BE BE USED TO HOLD YOUR CIGERETTE PACK...
Access in rear door panel, allows you to lock/inlock rear door.
Close the door but first put a chemical by your do so they wont bring friends.
try to close it then never use it ...if i could keep it closed i wont open it again i think it has something to do with the mechanics in the door itself
usually the locking latch in the door is in the closed position. try holding the handle in the open position and opening the latch manually.
