Your garage door may not stay down due to issues with the sensors, springs, or the door itself. To fix it, check if the sensors are aligned, adjust the spring tension, or lubricate the moving parts. If the problem persists, consider calling a professional for further inspection and repair.
Ok on the the back of the opener there are two in most cases purple nobs were you can put a screw driver it will have 1- 10. 3 is what it should be set at. at ten the door wont stop for anything a car a bike a person so watch it at 1 the door wont close if it hits anything going down. i hope i helped
I don't know you should try it Yes you can it wont make any difference what door you bought or the opener you bought.
replace the batteries
replace rear door shocks. the two rods along the sides.
Try spraying the latch mechanism with WD-40. Work the latch a few times and then spray it again.
how do you fix a prosthetic leg that the release screw wont go all the way down in to the socket
its called the pu$$y
I suspect the rod that opens the door has come loose or broken off the door handle and is keeping the window from coming down. Take the inside door panel off and check. If needed just replace the door handle.
You have to keep it down with your foot!
you might need a new window motor
if your door wont close then i would look at the "eyes" but if it wont open or close check the wires take it wall unit off and make sure the wires are hooked up. I just learned a costly lesson and that you need to check the power. Are your red beams lit up? Check your trip switch. That's a $60 lesson and I hope I can save someone else a service call perhaps.
Why don't you just go down to your local garage and ask they wont charge you anything :) hoped this helps
