if your door wont close then i would look at the "eyes" but if it wont open or close check the wires take it wall unit off and make sure the wires are hooked up. I just learned a costly lesson and that you need to check the power. Are your red beams lit up? Check your trip switch. That's a $60 lesson and I hope I can save someone else a service call perhaps.

As long as you have enough room in the opening to iinstall it square and plumb it'll work fine but if your opening is way out of true, even if you install the window level and plumb it just wont look right.

as like the key wont turn or the door is just stuck? if so id try a lock smith cuz it might have to be drilled out. if the door is stuck just tug it hard sometimes integra doors bend easily so they dont close right
