Henry, Duke of Richmond, was born to Bessie Blount, a mistress of King Henry He had one legitimate son (Edward VI) by Jane Seymour and one illigitmate son (Henry Fitzroy) by his mistress Elizabeth Blount.

There were other sons by Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn, but these were either stillborn, miscarried or died shortly after birth.
