The British system of government is a constitutional monarchy combined with a parliamentary democracy. The monarch serves as the ceremonial head of state, while the Prime Minister, elected from the majority party in Parliament, acts as the head of government. This system emphasizes the rule of law, accountability, and the separation of powers, allowing for a balance between the monarchy and elected officials.
