This depends on the dog itself. Like humans, different dogs have different favourites. Out of my two dogs, which are the same breed, one loves kidney most and the other loves beef most. Every dog is different.
the answer is generally ONE. A police dog is trained with its handler so they learn together. It takes about 13 weeks from the start to finish generally. Normally there will be one trainer in charge of the dog and handlers training. Of course dogs will train until they eventually retire after about eight years service.
Easy get the training stuff from the store and then get the treats so you can treat your dog when it is good
Most K-9 dogs are trained and handled by one or two people, and they usually decide on one command for each dog.
There is no single "Police Dog Training Center" worldwide, as many countries have their own specialized K9 training facilities. However, police dog training has been around for over a century, with formal programs established in the early 1900s. Key Historical Moments in Police Dog Training: 1899: The first organized police dog training program started in Ghent, Belgium. 1910s: Germany developed formal police dog training schools, including one in Greenheide, near Berlin. 1950s-60s: The United States, UK, and other countries expanded their K9 training programs for law enforcement. Present Day: Many police forces have their own dedicated K9 training centers, such as: Metropolitan Police Dog Training School (UK) – Established in 1954 FBI K9 Training Unit (USA) Dubai Police K9 Unit (UAE)
Yes ad personally that is one of my favourites! :D
# This question is the simplest one yet. the answers are; dog breeder, dog groomer, dog walker, vet, or one of those police people who work with dogs. Working with dogs is an excellent career choice by the way.
Only one police dog was killed in the attack on the Twin Twers.
Police departments don't sell ex-police dogs. They are either retired with their partner or another qualified officer, or put to sleep. These dogs require very special handling because of the training they have received.
