Buckingham Palace is the official residence of the British monarch. It serves as both a working palace for the sovereign and a venue for official events and ceremonies. Located in London, it has been the primary residence of the monarchy since Queen Victoria's reign. The palace is also a major tourist attraction, drawing visitors from around the world.
Lambeth Palace is the London residence of the Archbishop of Canterbury but he spends most of his time in Canterbury - sensible man.
