Why does prince Harry not have a last name?

Prince William's surname is not Tudor because the Tudor family ruled from 1485-1603. The descendants of Elizabeth II use the last name Mountbatten-Windsor when a last name is needed, such as in the case of marriage.

well it is, but it just isn't used in his royal title, but biologically the entire royal families last name is Saxe-Coburg-Gotha. but after the bombing of London by a bomber aircraft named the GOTHA, in WWI, King George V by royal proclamation declared that any of his descendants shall not bare any German names, unless said person were to give up all Royal titles and any property belonging to the royals.

Royals only use last names if the occasions calls for it. Prince harry's family name is 'Mounbatten-Windsor' and he can also use 'Wales' as a last name since his father is Prince of Wales.
