I am not sure what you are asking here - do you mean that the left side of the brain was affected, or the left side of the body? As you are probably aware, if the left side of the brain was affected, then the right side of the body will be affected, and vice versa.
I suffered a LEFT stroke, so my RIGHT physical abilities have been damaged, but I do not have incontinence problems, EXCEPT if I am stupid and take muscle relaxant meds. The irony was that when I came out of hospital my urinary control was far better than before the stroke, except that some months later , I took an alternative/natural therapy which was supposed to relieve cramps, which I did not really need to take, which did leave me, not incontinent, but without the bladder control that I had come home with. This, unfortunately has never recovered. Apparently it is lack of the neurotransmitter vassopressin that causes this problem, and this is available as a prescription medication, and over the NET, however it caused me headaches, and I do not like taking medication, anyway. If you stop using it, suddenly, you get a rebound effect, so that, then, yes you do become incontinent.
I have met a number of stroke victims in the last 16 years, and, although they may have urgency difficulties (and that is likely due to slowness of movement and difficulty with dexterity in undoing clothes) i have not met any who have real incontinence issues.
Left-sided hydroureteronephrosis is a medical condition characterized by the dilation of the left ureter and kidney due to an obstruction in the urinary tract, preventing normal urine flow. This can lead to swelling of the ureter and kidney, potentially causing pain and kidney damage if left untreated. Common causes include kidney stones, tumors, or strictures. Prompt diagnosis and treatment are essential to prevent complications.

Humans are naturally born with stronger left arms and left legs. During the early 1800s, anyone who was left handed or left legged was forced to use the right leg or hand instead. Children born in this era adopted the techniques of their parents. Because all the parents where forced to be right legged, the children knew no better and accepted right sidedness, even the ones that were truly left sided. People who are naturally left sided, but have been tricked into rightsidedry at a young age have often noticed that their left arm or leg feels ticks or "vibrations". These vibrations will get more aggressive as you age. The only way to stop them is to accept that you are actually left sided and to start doing everything with your left arm and left leg. Have you noticed that you are smarter than all your right sided friends? it's probably because naturally left sided people are smarter, even if they've been tricked into being right sided!
