Since it has been posited by educationally accepted scientists that 0.5 to 1% of the population world wide is transgendered, then if we have 7 billion human beings on the planet, then 35 to 70 million human beings are transgendered.

However, the question is about transsexual persons, not people who dress as or pretend to be the other sex and deliberately keep their original parts. Transsexual persons eventually get surgery. There are about 1/10 to 1/100 as many genuine TS persons are there are TG persons. So there would be anywhere from 350,000 to 7 million born with transsexualism rather than merely living a transgendered lifestyle.
