Healthcare is not entirely free to the individual but close. Canadians have to pay for some or all drugs and dental work and glasses. Also, cosmetic surgery and some other kinds of purely elective surgery are not considered essential care and are generally not covered.
Of course nothing is actually free. It's paid for out of taxes people pay, but there's not a direct charge to individuals when they go to the doctor or hospital, etc.
Canada♥
Free Healthcare.
Canada's healthcare is free to all of their citizens. The healthcare is payed for by the money that is collected through the sales taxes. This healthcare insures all of Canada's residents.
No, healthcare is not free in Canada. It is paid for through taxes. However, it IS free at the point of delivery.
Healthcare in Canada isn't actually free. In 1984 a law was passed that gave access to medical care for any citizen from the government. It is similar to what the United States offers for those who qualify for Medicare.
Technically it isn't free. But because we pay taxes, we get 'free healthcare'.
We were a getaway for slaves, free healthcare, peace-keeping country, hockey, running water, Tim Hortons. + more = )
In Canada, doctor visits are covered by the national Medicare program, so any citizen can get a free physical done at any time. If a person lives elsewhere, healthcare costs will depend on what sort of coverage they have and what the healthcare program is. In most countries, there is simply no such thing as a free physical.
health care is never "free" it is socialized medicine what this means is that people pay extra taxes towards this healthcare system, much like they do here in Canada.
Canada has a free market economy. It has more regulations of the US and Canada's healthcare for all system must be paid for. Often business taxes are used to pay for the free medical care programs they offer. That is not to say that there is a good atmosphere for business.
In my opinion, Canada is a wonderful place. For example, we have a great healthcare system.
No he was a king not a free visa to canada
