There are many examples of bio ethical issues, one example could be abortion, another might be PGD, which has become known as creating a "designer baby."

PGD was first started as creating a way for parents to insure that their offspring did not have a certain disease/syndrome/disease that the parent(s) could be a carrier for, and be passing to their potential child. This practice has been turned into a way for parents to also determine the sex of their child, which has led to being able to choose various traits such as red hair, or green eyes, etc.
