It is a somewhat derogatory term for the The Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, passed in 2011. Not all of the features are known, but it ensures all Americans can obtain affordable insurance (I Hope!), preventive care, no lifetime caps and, hopefully, will reduce the cost to us all from uninsured, uncared for people who end up in the hospital. It also has changed parental insurance for children, raising the age to 26. It requires a high percentage of premium monies be spent on medical bills. Of course, like anything else Congress passes (my bit of opinion), it includes items that are unrelated. Corrections and refinements are most certainly needed, but repealing the entire law should not be necessary to do so.
