Some argue that the greatest blow to the League of Nations' power was the refusal of the United States to join. US President Woodrow Wilson was a major advocate of the League (not to mention instrumental in its founding), but the US Senate still turned down membership. The League hoped the US would play a major diplomatic and financial role in the League, but with the US' refusal to join, these benefits would not come to pass.
Other weaknesses include that the League had no military force to speak of, and no means of enforcing the resolutions it passed. Thus they relied on the more powerful members (like Great Britain and France) to help enforce decisions. However, since a pacifist attitude was prevalent in those nations at the time, nations like Britain and France were reluctant to have their militaries used to enforce the League's resolutions.
The weak points of the League of the nations is that 3 countries could not join
Human error.

It changed it became the UN. The UN is better than the league of nations.
the league of nations
The Fourteen Points, which included his League of Nations.
yes
The league of nations failed in Abyssinia because it was too weak and frightened of Italy to stand up against Italy. the league was frightened if they upset Italy's prime minister Benito Mussolini, that he may not help the league if Hilter were to attck again, so they basically let Italy do what they wanted because the the league was weak and defenseless. Hope that helped
Woodrow Wilson
The Fourteen Points are Wilson's plan for world peace following World War 1 and the League of Nations - An international peace-keeping organization proposed by Wilson and founded in 1920.
It made an organization that was weak from its very design even weaker.
The League of Nations was one of President Woodrow Wilson's final points of his 14 points. The League's members nations would help to preserve peace and prevent future wars by pledging to respect and protect one another's territory and political independence. It was a result of the Paris Peace Conference. The outcome was that of noteable success, and failure. The league broke up after world war2
