As of my last knowledge update in October 2023, the most recent country to join the United Nations is South Sudan, which became a member state on July 14, 2011. If there have been any new developments or additional countries joining since then, I would recommend checking the latest news or official UN announcements for the most current information.

Switzerland has not joined in the UN and it is only an observer country. Appart from having 'co-headquarters' of the UN in Geneva Switzerland has been a member of most UN suborganisations (and their mainsponsor!) for a long time. The country has joined the UN in 2002.
The Netherlands joined the UN on December 10, 1945.
No one could have recently joined the Illuminati. The organization was disbanded in 1785.
Switzerland.
Technically, you can't find out who has recently joined. There isnt' a "recently joined" list on WikiAnswers, because there really isn't a need for it. Though, above a user's badges on their bio page, you can see the date they joined, which could happen to be just recently.
Ghana joined the United Nations on August 3, 1957.
Iran
In 1949, no new countries joined the United Nations; however, the UN General Assembly did admit several nations in the years following its founding in 1945. Notably, the countries that joined in 1949 were not part of the UN until they were admitted later on. The most significant membership changes occurred in the years immediately following World War II, with many nations gaining independence and seeking UN membership thereafter.
The most recent country to join was Croatia in July 2013. Before that, both Romania and Bulgaria joined in January 2007.
Bhutan joined the United Nations on September 21, 1971. The country's accession to the UN marked a significant step in its engagement with the international community and its commitment to global peace and development. Bhutan's membership has since facilitated its participation in various international initiatives and programs.
