Yes, although it would be best if you wouldn't. Christmas beetles rely heavily on the environment, and would require quite a large cage for a beetle, a fish tank would be a good size. They need lots of soil, and in mid spring, make sure to spray water with a spray attachment on the end of the pipe to recreate rain (with the beetle in), because without rain in mid-spring or early spring, the beetles can be caught underground and die. It might seem a little creature, but it has as many needs as a cat!
