Yes they do, and it has been proposed that they have the best. The eye of the giant squid is the biggest, so if size matters then they have that virtue cornered. The fact that giant squid live in the abysimal depths of the oceans means that they are sensitive to very weak emmissions. Also the nerve that attaches to the photo-cells in the squid is attahced to the posterior end of the cell, where in vertabrates it is attached to the anterior end. It has been proposed that the squid has the superior arrangement in this as it doesn't impede as much on the incoming light. Qualitative analysis of this however would be difficult to do.
