While all tarantulas are venemous but most posess a venom that would simply result in a small amount of discomfort, slight reddness and swelling - very similar to a bee sting. There are some tarantulas that can cause a much stronger reaction with their venom - including intense pain, muscle cramping from head to toe, rapid or irregular heartbeat, very high fever, among other reactions. But there has never been any reports of a human being killed by a tarantulas venom.
