The traditional remedy is to rub on a dock leaf.
However, if these do not grow in your area, there are other remedies.
Firstly, it stings something fierce, but you have to force yourself not to touch it. Don't scratch or rub it, even though you are really going to want to dig in. It will be way worse it you do. Refrain.
Get yourself to a sink, and wash the area with soap and cool to cold water. Don't use heat, because that will make it worse too.
Get a piece of tape and cover the area, then pull it back off. This will help pull out any little stinging hairs that didn't wash off. Sometimes they get stuck in the skin. The tape will lift them.
Put a topical cream on the area. Hydrocortisone or Benadryl creams have both worked for me. They are good items to keep in your home first aid kit.
Ice packs or cold packs will help ease the sting while the topical cream is kicking in.
Try to avoid getting that area in hot water when you shower later. Until it starts healing up, the heat will make it flare up.
