No.. not at all.. and beg bugs are a huge problem that are hard to deal with. If you live in an apartment or duplex, etc. you need to notify your landlord IMMEDIATELY so all apartments can be treated.. here is a good link that talks about getting rid of bed bugs

AnswerLysol is not a good tool to get rid of bed bugs. The best idea is to call a certified pest control company that has experience dealing with an infestation.

There are much better products to treat bed bugs. Lysol is not a good choice and will not solve a bed bug issue.

I don't know the science of it. But my experience is that spraying the Crisp Linen Lysol on the surface of dusty objects, leaving the room and then coming back, I find that my allergy symptoms related to dust are much reduced. I don't know whether the spray may kill the dust mite critters, or whether it merely disinfects their allergy-triggering feces. But spraying Lysol works on surfaces, temporarily. Dust mites live on shed human skin cells, so as soon as you shed some more in their direction, the problem re-emerges. Best solution seems to be to keep papers filed, clothes washed or in a hamper, etc. I go the extra step of keeping all my clean clothes inside of plastic freezer (food) bags. And I keep important papers inside of archival plastic sleeves. The fastest way to get rid of dust mites is to wash your sheets, pillow cases and blankets in hot water and soap once a week. And encase your mattress, or better yet futon, inside of a zippered plastic mattress cover. If you have dusty books, you could put them inside a backpack and bring them if you visit a courthouse or other place that X-rays everything for security reasons. X-rays seem to kill dust mites.
