I've have several house plants under a floor lamp on a timer for many years now. They do quite well compared to a couple I put in my hallway WITHOUT any lamp on them. The little daylight the hallway gets doesn't suffice and eventually any plant I've put there has died. But the plants under the timed floor lamp are too many years old for me to remember. I even have a cactus that is at least 10 years old under the lamp. I use to put it outside in the summer time but it's so tall I'm afraid to move it for fear of breaking it. I've also found that my plants seem healthier since I starting keeping them inside under the lamp rather than moving them outside for the summer.
yes, but you need to water it
no, not under a normal lamp. but under a special grow lamp it will make it a lot quicker.
The plant can not live in a Closet with no lamp. With no light, the plant can not make glucose (C6H12O6) The plant will evenually die. The plant in the closet will die whether or not there is a lamp, but the one with the lamp will live longer.
the roots of a plant is what is under the ground and makes the plant grow :)
No, because the lamp does not produce the type of light and heat energy like the sun produces and the plant can not perform its photosynthesis which is the process of which the plant grows, and it also depends on what type of plant you have.
A regular lamp will not produce healthy plants. "Grow lights" or fish tank lights work best as they provide the required light colors for plant growth and health.
Plants grow faster under a lamp because they need light for photosynthesis, which is the process that allows them to produce energy for growth. Without enough light, plants will grow slower or may not grow at all. A lack of light can lead to weakened stems, yellow leaves, and overall stunted growth.
Yes, it is possible to plant a seed in a pot and let it grow under a lamp when it is still small. Ensure the lamp provides the right spectrum of light (usually full spectrum or grow lights), keep the light on for about 12-16 hours a day, and ensure the potting soil is well-draining and not kept too soggy. Rotate the pot regularly to prevent the plant from growing towards one direction.
Carrots grow under the ground, they are a root plant...

Near/under water
no it will mess it up
