No, one injection by the mosquito cause one mosquito bite. However, one mosquito may attck several times or several mosquitoes could be the culprit.

Another possibility is that the rash caused by the mosquito bite (or by something the mosquito carried) could spread by scratching.

Yes, bed bug bites can spread over time. It can take a few days for bites to appear. For example, you may have stayed at a hotel where there were bed bugs and during the night you may have been bitten. (Bed bugs tend to feed when it is dark; they do not like light.) The bites may not show until a few days after you stayed in the hotel. You may have a few bites one day and more bites will appear over the next few days. I work in the airline industry contracting hotels for crew members. Out of about 9000 hotel nights booked a month, we have one confirmed infestation at one of our hotels. It does not mean the hotel is dirty. Bed bugs can get into hotels very easily from any person that travels. Bed bugs can also infest movie theaters, department stores, people's residences, etc. Do not automatically assume bites are from a hotel stay.

ANS2: No....if the mosquito with some fatal virus and then bite you immediately, you may die from the bites, but the possibility is very low.

ANS3: After Hurricane Allen went through TX in 1980, the ranchers were losing cattle from blood loss from the swarms of mosquitoes that were breeding in the standing water. Those mosquitoes were biting right through my clothing. I figure if I'd fallen asleep on the beach, I'd not be writing this now.
