Everyone believes so, but I have checked many websites myself and they say it is not possible for them to get through the eardrum, but they may crawl in your ear and pinch you giving you a headache. I'm extremely creeped out by them and if you live in an area where there are many, you should buy earplugs. That's what I am doing.
