Using orange oil and baking soda on cats for fleas is not recommended. Orange oil can be toxic to cats, and baking soda may irritate their skin or digestive system if ingested. It's best to consult a veterinarian for safe and effective flea treatments specifically designed for cats. Always prioritize your pet's safety and well-being when considering home remedies.
yes!
yes baking soda is safe, as is talcum powder or baby powder. Both substances are good home remedies for killing fleas on your pet ... the powders will smother the fleas. When applying either powder, apply to the animals head first, which will prevent fleas from running towards the head as the powder is applied elsewhere.
Use baking soda to kill fleas on furnishings. One of the pros of baking soda is that it rids flea eggs and larvae from your furniture gaps and crevices as it is a powder. This method of killing fleas functions by dehydrating their larvae, a key to their development. Apply baking soda by sprinkling on soft furnishings such as your mattresses, carpets, or rugs, vacuum 4-6 hours later to find the fleas and their larvae absent from your furniture!
Baking soda pH about 8.0 so methyl orange is yellow (above 4.4)
When orange juice and baking soda are mixed, a chemical reaction occurs. The acid in the orange juice reacts with the base in the baking soda to produce carbon dioxide gas, which causes the mixture to bubble and fizz. This reaction may alter the taste and consistency of the orange juice.
because you have to put baking soda in orange juice
When baking soda and sugar are added to orange juice, the baking soda can react with the acids in the orange juice and create carbon dioxide gas, resulting in fizzing or bubbling. The sugar will simply dissolve in the juice without any noticeable reaction.
From what I have read and heard you have to use equal parts of baking soda, and iodized salt. This combination is supposed to dehydrate and kill fleas and eggs hatchlings. Hey the way I see it baking soda is cheap, and so is salt compared to most flea products, so why not try it? You also must treat your pets, and again from what I have read and heard Dawn dish liquid is a great cleanser to use to bath pets and kill fleas. Also, I read something about liquid garlic, feeding it to the pets in their daily meals. Fleas appearently don't like the smell and won't get on the pets. Hope this helps!!! Good luck!!!
Because baking soda is NaHCO3 and starch is (C6H10O5). Getting starch in packs of baking soda would be like getting mincemeat in your orange juice. It's not what you're buying.
a question that you ask your self. For example:what explodes higher baking soda, vinegar, and water or baking soda, vinegar, and orange juice or baking soda, vinegar, and root beer?
The combination of apple cider vinegar and baking soda may help repel fleas, but it is not a guaranteed method for eliminating them completely. It is recommended to consult with a veterinarian for more effective flea control options.
