Ants, and other insects have exoskeletons. Unlike a skeleton found in an animal like a human, where it is made of bones and is found inside the body, the exoskeleton of an ant is made of a protein and is found on the outside of an ant (exo means outside or exterior). So when you are looking at an ant, you are seeing its exoskeleton.

So yes, they have skeletons. Their skeletons are just on the outside.
