Do cockroaches die after giving birth?

yes it does, but if you try squishing it and then spray an insect killer they won't. (we killed lots of cockroaches, one we flushed it in the toilet. and one touched my sister toothbrush with it's mouth.)

No it does not. Although it is true that they lay their eggs before death, that is only half. Female roaches drop their eggs when they feel threatened and then run away. When the female runs it attracts her predator to her and not the eggs, therefore protecting it. There is really no way to sneak up on a roach because they have sensors that sense movement around them so it is alright to kill a roach but make sure to look for the egg from where it started running. (you can tell it is a female if it only has one pair of sensors on the front, the male has 2. so don't waste your time looking if its a male that you've squished.) it is best to spray the baseboards with insecticide, although roaches do mutate to become immune to the insecticide, so i would also buy roach bait witch is food that they bring to the nest so that they don't mutate much. also buy egg killers. egg killers attract females to lay their eggs on it not knowing its egg poison. roaches like to lay their eggs in warm dark places, so setting them in dark corners would hellp. Yes it can, It actually is possible for it to happen. Once the female is .... it can still give birth due to a rare defect in the uterus in the female cockroach. Beware they can still have up to 300 babies at this time.

cockroaches stay alive.

No the typical household roach will carry the egg capsule to within about 24 hrs of it being about to hatch. She then drops it somewhere but she still survives.
