Yes, humans can eat krill. It is very rich in essential oils that the body needs, high in protein, low in fat (especially saturated fat), however does not have a very nice taste (although still considered a luxury in some countries). To overcome the bad taste companies have started to produce 'krill oil', which contains the oils from the krill that are good for the body, but have flavourings in to make it taste better.
