We bought a Flowtron zapper last year that covers 1 1/2 acres and yes it's noisy, (fried bugs anyone?) but it definitely works! Watch out for where you place it - too close to the house/outdoor dining and you'll just attract the bugs to where you are, too far away and you'll still get the bugs bothering you. A word of warning, if you have a lot of bugs check it throughout the evening, ours can be covered in dead bodies in about an hour and smokes when overloaded! It just needs a shake to clear the debris.
Happy Zapping!!

Yes, the Stinger Model ZV500 bug zapper has a fuse as part of its safety features. The fuse protects the device from electrical surges and can blow if there's a fault or overload. If the zapper is not functioning, checking and replacing the fuse may resolve the issue. Always refer to the user manual for specific instructions regarding maintenance and troubleshooting.

If you have alot of bugs collected to the metal grid, it is best to use a air hose with a nozzle on it. Blow the bugs off and then plug the bug zapper back into the electrical outlet and it should be good for a few days.
