Worms are very important to us. This is because, worms chew up soil. They then spit it out and when they have done this, it acts as a fertilizer to the trees and other plants. Trees let out oxygen, which us humans breath in. If there were no worms, the trees and plants would not be healthy and we would not have trees to give us oxygen.

So when you see a worm, don't kill it, put it in the soil so that they can fertilize our trees!
