Humans are significantly larger than ants; on average, an adult human stands about 1.5 to 2 meters tall, while most ants measure around 0.5 to 5 centimeters in length. This means humans can be hundreds to thousands of times taller and heavier than ants. In terms of mass, a typical human weighs around 70 kilograms, whereas an ant typically weighs only a few milligrams. This size difference highlights the vast disparity in scale between humans and these small insects.

Ants are tiny so they have a size to movement of muscles ratio advantage. A big animal needs to move more space of muscle mass in order to lift. Ants are small and they don't have much muscle resistance to do heavy jobs compared to their size.
No, ants dont eat snails. Actually, ants eat anything and everything, including snails. But it's harder for them to kill a snail compared to a slug.
Some ants in the same colony may be bigger than others due to their roles and tasks within the colony. Larger ants may be specialized for tasks that require more strength or size, such as foraging or defending the colony. Additionally, genetics and nutrition can also play a role in determining the size of individual ants within a colony.
i don't really know bout that. But I've seen 2 big (black) ants move together side by side followed by 2 long lines of small ants behind them. The big ant on the left side has a big head while the other one has a big abdomen with gold stripes on it. I assumed the big head as the King while the big abdomen as the Queen of ants, and the small black ants as the "soldiers".
